Our mission-driven team is seeking a bold and dynamic GN&C Engineer who is preoccupied with big questions: Where do we go from here? What are the limits of innovation and exploration? How do we continue to evolve as a species?
SUMMARY: Our team is looking for an energetic and dynamic GN&C Engineer who will support the design, development, and testing of Axiom’s GN&C System. This position has been posted at multiple levels. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop GN&C algorithms and architecture for AxHub1 module
- Build GN&C simulation for flight software analysis
- Analyze GN&C Monte Carlo simulations
- Perform GN&C hardware trade studies and testing

Education & Experience
- B.S. in Engineering or related field and 2+ years of experience or Masters degree preferred
- Experience developing spacecraft GN&C systems for space vehicles
- Experience with GN&C and Monte Carlo analysis
- Extensive experience with spacecraft dynamics and orbital mechanics
- Significant C++, Python, and MATLAB programming experience
Desired Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering or related field
- Experience developing spacecraft guidance algorithms
- Experience analyzing low earth orbit trajectories
- Experience developing control algorithms, stability analysis, and thruster-select logic
- Experience in Kalman filtering and state estimation
- Experience with image processing and algorithm development
- Experience with GN&C hardware including IMU, GPS, Star Trackers, LIDAR and OpNav
- Experience with SWIL and HWIL testing and integration
- Experience with NASA’s Trick simulation framework
- Experience with JSC Engineering Orbital Mechanics (JEOD)
- Experience working in a multi-function team in an Agile environment

- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
